Summer 2012 launches the inaugural season for BeBagsFree, the vision of Gary Hill from Eagle, Colorado. In 1981, after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in geology, Gary moved to Vail, Colorado, to ski for a year before pursuing his career. With the beauty of the Rockies and the lure of outdoor activities, it took only one season to convince Gary that the Vail Valley would be his home.

Over the last 30 years, while building a successful custom-home construction business (check out the website at www.hillconstructioninc.com), Gary always squeezed in time for his favorite outdoor activities, biking and skiing. He is an avid mountain and road biker and is excited about the future of biking in the Rockies. The 2011-2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge has revived the energy of the Coors Cycling Challenge from the 1980’s to make bicycling in the Rockies second to none. The Vail / Breckinridge / Aspen loop offers a link of continuous bicycle trails, a mecca of off-road options, and all the amenities of world-class resorts.

Gary decided the time is right to take the plunge and pursue another venture combining his passion of bicycling and business knowledge. And that new venture is BeBagsFree. The goal of BeBagsFree is to offer a service allowing bikers to travel with all the gear they want, without the hassle and weight of bike bags. You have the freedom to plan your own itinerary, while being spontaneous depending on the weather or your whim, and your entire group can participate in the ride. Just submit your itinerary, tag your luggage, and confirm by 9:00 a.m. Your bags will be at your destination by 4:00 p.m. the same day.
